EAGLE POINT, Ore.-The President and CEO of Develop Condos mentioned his organization is booming simply because Oregonians legalized recreational marijuana.

Wayne Zallen constructs buildings for marijuana growers to cultivate their crop.

His 10 units in Eagle Point are all leased, but he mentioned men and women are asking for much more.

Zallen mentioned Jackson County leaders weren’t functioning with him, so he created plans up north.

“We’re in the course of action of finding about 45,000 square feet up in Eugene, underway and we’re attempting to get about 5 acres outdoors of Portland into escrow so we can start off developing much more units,” mentioned Zallen.

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners mentioned land use ordinances have not been created for industrial recreational marijuana web sites.

Commissioners mentioned the Oregon Liquor Handle Commission would be involved in that course of action.
